What is XPosture?

XPosture is a continuous security posture and exposure assessment platform. It connects to the security tools you already run — firewalls, endpoint protection, cloud security, identity providers, vulnerability scanners, SIEM — reads from them with least-privilege, read-only access, and turns their scattered signals into one clear, auditable picture of your security posture.

What you get

  • One posture view across your whole stack. Instead of checking many consoles, XPosture aggregates findings, assets, vulnerabilities, and configuration checks into a single dashboard.
  • Compliance assessment against major frameworks — CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and HIPAA — with automated control mapping, gap analysis, score history over time, and evidence collection for audits.
  • Deterministic, explainable results. Checks and scores are computed by fixed, auditable rules — the same inputs always produce the same result, and every score can be traced back to the individual checks behind it. When you need to show an auditor where a number came from, you can.
  • Prioritization you can act on. XPosture highlights what to fix first, so limited remediation time goes where it matters most.
  • Plain-language explanations. AI in XPosture explains and summarizes computed results in clear language — it never invents scores or decides priorities. The rule is simple: the platform's code decides, AI explains.
  • Honest gaps. If a data source fails or isn't licensed, XPosture shows that clearly — missing data is never silently presented as "low risk".

How it starts

Getting started follows three steps:

  1. Connect your tools. From the Integrations page, connect the tools you already use with read-only credentials — see the connector prerequisites page for what each needs. Some devices need no credentials at all: you simply upload a configuration export.
  2. Run the first assessment. XPosture collects, runs its checks, and builds your posture picture — typically visible from the first scan.
  3. Review and act. The dashboard shows your posture, prioritized findings, and compliance standing; your team works from one prioritized list instead of many tools.
